Hors D' Oeuvres Crispy Fontina & Sun Dried Tomato Stuffed Chicken Bites (Basil Pesto Aioli) Crispy Egg White Deviled Egg (Lemon Yolk Filling With Red Chili-Garlic Sauce)
The 2013 Napa Sauvignon Blanc from Provenance’s Uppercut production is very pale in color, almost clear with a little golden yellow and a hint of green. Like most Sauvignon Blanc there is a full, vibrant nose, tangerine, lemon chiffon, lime, pear, magnolia and kiwi. This is a Sauvignon Blanc that is both light and delicate and has some weight behind it. It starts off with equal parts apricot and peach and then the Sierra Mist and the orange peal kick in. The mid palate brings in a very nice mineral edge, along with some pineapple and mango. The acidity is well balanced, the wine has good length and also helps a pale citrus finish linger on for quite some time. The Uppercut Sauvignon Blanc is a wine with a sense of place. It is different from Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, the Loire Valley and Chile. It has elements of wines from those areas, but it tastes of Northern California. Delicate, but with some heft, stone fruit, but with a nice counterpoint of citrus and a nice minerality that gives the wine some class.

Hors D' Oeuvres Crispy Fontina & Sun Dried Tomato Stuffed Chicken Bites (Basil Pesto Aioli) Crispy Egg White Deviled Egg (Lemon Yolk Filling With Red Chili-Garlic Sauce)
Bright, fresh and crisp, the 2013 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc brims with exceptionally juicy-ripe tropical fruit and citrus expression. Pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, honeydew melon and orange blossom layer the aromas and lemon-custard flavors. Hints of minerality and French oak spices add even further dimension to this wine’s profile. The texture is seductive as the silky flavors glide across the palate and culminate in a tangy mango finish.

Salad Course Assorted Grilled Vegetables (Spring Mix, Cotijo Cheese, Grape Tomatoes And Fresh Basil With Pickled Red Onions And Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette)
The 2013 Napa Chardonnay from Provenance’s Uppercut production is incredibly fruit expressive with notes of juicy pear, melon, pineapple and Meyer lemon zest. Hints of apple pie, which define the Chardonnay grape's apple expression mingled with cinnamon and toasty vanilla spices from oak aging. The full-bodied texture is best described as...voluptuous.

Seafood Course Black Pepper Seared Rare Tuna Steak (Merlot Butter Sauce, Fennel, Caramelized Onion And Brioche Stuffed Plum Tomato With Jasmine Rice)
Complex aromas of satsuma plum, Bing cherry, mocha and caramel distinguish the 2010 Provenance Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot. The cool growing season, long hangtime and exceptional vineyards contributed vibrancy and layers of nuance to the rich, dark-fruit flavors. Plush tannins support the flavors, while hints of toasty oak spice and chocolate - from new French oak barrels - heighten the aromas and linger on the long, jammy finish.

Vibrant and fruity, the 2011 Numanthia Termes stands out for its lively character. This wine perfectly expresses the Toro region. At the Numanthia winery, extended maceration of the grape skins and regular racking during 16 months' ageing in French oak barrels give the wine a lively combination of fruit and structure. Toasted notes with cedar and spice frame a richly layered, juicy texture on the palate. 90 points - Wine Spectator - "This plush red offers rich, ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and currant, framed with spice, espresso and dark chocolate details. Shows structure and balance, in the modern style."
