On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, smooth, rich and a little off-dry. The flavor profile is strawberry and red raspberry with notes of maraschino cherry and saline. The finish is off-dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. |

They work with vineyard managers and farmers in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and the Sierra Foothills and stay involved at every step, from growth to bottling. Vermilion is Helen’s blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and boasts flavors of baking spice, bright blackberry, with an immense warmth. It has outstanding aromatics of kirsch and darker cherries with subtle peppery garrigue and gamey nuances. Jeb Dunnuck- 92 Points. |
